Where we’re headed…

We’ve already tied up school visit work with our current clients to:

1. Narrow down school lists.

2. Select a smaller range of schools to visit.

3. and schedule those visits and interviews.

School is now in session for the 2023-24 school year and that means that school visits are already happening for prospective families who would like to have some boarding school or private day school options NEXT fall. When making your school visit plans, know that appointments on the most popular visit days (public school holidays) may already be fully booked. So, if you haven’t started planning your visits yet, NOW is a good time to get to work on your schedule or reach out and learn how we can help you with the process. Be sure to have a look at our FREE recorded webinar about planning for school visits, so you understand how these visits and interviews work and enter them confidently. You can gain access to that on-demand recorded program here. Sign up to view our free resources for families. You can also reach out to our Director, Brad D’Arco. bdarco@darcoassociates.com

We’re looking forward to guiding our clients through this part of the admission cycle. School visits are a great opportunity for families and students to get a better feel for how they might fit into a school community. For many clients, (we saw this with our own daughter who’s a boarding school student now, too) there’s no more telling method for determining if they’d like to move ahead and apply to a school, than stepping foot on campus. You gain important insights in the culture of the community, the daily functions on campus, the academic and co-curricular schedule, and more. And you provide the admission office and others with an opportunity to get to know you, and a memory to attach to application file should you decide to prepare one.

Here is the full list of schools that our clients are visiting this fall. We assist each of our clients in determining which schools they should make time to visit. We help with appointment scheduling when needed. And we prepare our families for the student and parent interviews, and the other interactions with students, faculty, and staff that they are likely to experience on campus.
